David Osrin is trialling community interventions in the informal settlements of Mumbai in order to address the health concerns that affect their more than 4 million residents, particularly women and children. He is also co-directing a large community art initiative, the Dharavi Biennale. Join David to hear more about research, art and health in urban Mumbai.
The Dharavi Biennale is an art and health festival which recently hosted an exhibition curated by Medicine Corner, a Wellcome Collection project exploring medicine as an integral, pervasive feature of Indian street life.
