When Species Meet: Loss

Discussion

Ticketed

Thursday 27 April 2017

19:00-20:30

Please note this event takes place at the Grant Museum of Zoology, Rockefeller Building, UCL, University Street, WC1E 6DE. It is a 5 minute walk from Wellcome Collection.

Natural history museums are full of collections that tell the story of what happens when two species meet, in particular when our species meets another.

Often these are cautionary tales of extinction and decline. In this first of two 'When Species Meet' events, join scientists and conservationists to discuss what we can learn about the future of biodiversity from these historic tales of loss.

This event is a collaboration between Wellcome Collection and the Grant Museum of Zoology, UCL.

This event is FREE. Tickets are available from the Grant Museum from 11.00 on Friday 31 March.

For enquiries contact the Grant Museum on 020 3108 2052 or email d.veall@ucl.ac.uk.
