More people than ever are using step counters, Fitbits or apps to monitor their own activity and rest. Some take it further and keep records of their emotional state too. And how are employers using this new technology to track their staff? Is self-tracking good for us or does it have a downside? Join broadcaster and writer Claudia Hammond for a panel discussion on the impact of both the Quantified Self movement and the more mainstream trend to measure our movements.
- Farzana Dudhwala, sociologist, Said Business School, University of Oxford
- Phoebe Moore, senior lecturer and researcher in the quantified self and work, Middlesex University
- Vassos Alexander, sports journalist and writer
