Drop in

Saturday 16 September 2017

14:00-15:00

15:00-16:00

16:00-17:00

Drop by to learn how to create a graphic novel, in a series of workshops led by the illustrator Alex Demetris. The three workshops will each focus on a different element necessary for creating your own comic or graphic novel, including character design and story development. These workshops will take inspiration from our new exhibition, ‘Can Graphic Design Save Your Life’.

How to get involved

These workshops are for young people aged 14-19. There are 20 spaces in each session - first come, first served. You’ll have the best chance of getting a space if you turn up 15 minutes before the start of the session. Each session will last one hour, and you’ll be able to stay on for the following one if there isn’t a waiting list.

This event is FREE.
