Peter Watts is an experienced journalist and author who has written for the ‘Times’, ‘Independent’, ‘Observer’ and many other national and regional media.

In his latest book, ‘Up in Smoke: The failed dreams of Battersea Power Station', Watts examines the turbulent journey of this iconic London building. Using archival evidence, and interviews with people who were involved in its operations and plans, the book takes readers on a journey into the past, present and future of a true London landmark.
