What you’ll do

Join a celebration and exploration of Hallowe’en, with spooky activities and entertainment in the Reading Room and Viewing Room.  

There will be two creative workshops, a tour, a documentary film screening, live music and a discussion. You can drop in any time between 16:00 and 20:00.   

This event isn’t recommended for young children. 

Our galleries, library, café and shop are all open until 20:00 on Thursdays.

Location

We’ll be in the Reading Room on level 2. You can walk up the spiral staircase to the Reading Room door, or take the lift up and then head left from the Library Desk.

Sarah is a Visitor Experience Assistant at Wellcome Collection, a medical doctor and a writer. She loves all things medical history, especially around medieval concepts of medicine, Georgian and Dickensian London, and maritime folklore.

Rosie is a Visitor Experience Assistant at Wellcome Collection aiming to inspire and encourage deep thinking, feeling and connection around collections and exhibitions by relating them to social, cultural, political and environmental issues of the day. Her goal is to empower individuals and groups from all walks of life to share their thoughts and lived experiences, and maybe even to collaborate on change-making.

Clementine Blue and Lim Orion create their own soundscape using saxophone loops and analogue synthesisers. Drawing inspiration from Harold Budd, Suzanne Ciani and natural phenomena, the duo keeps exploring an imaginary landscape.
