What you’ll do

Join Sarah Dabbs and Polly Bodetto from our Visitor Experience and Library team in a science fiction writing workshop that uses a selection of images and texts on mushrooms and fungi for inspiration.

You can join in activities, such as such as a foraging visualisation, creating a fungi dating profile and mushroom roulette, to help you weave your own mycelial network.

You will then have a chance to write a science fiction piece inspired by the items you’ve examined.

The workshop is open to all levels, from beginners who want a place to start to more experienced writers who may be looking for a spark for their next piece.
