What you’ll do

Join Polly Bodetto, Katie Hanlon and Maryam Bouteldja from our Library and Visitor Experience teams in a creative writing workshop inspired by items from our collections. You’ll be looking at a selection of images and texts focusing on the magic and mythologies of frogs and toads over time.

You’ll participate in several activities, such as word games, readings and collaborative writing, to help you consider how to write about animals, companionship, and the environment. You’ll then have a chance to write your own piece inspired by the items you’ve examined.

The workshop is open to all levels, from beginners who want a place to start, to more experienced writers who may be looking for a spark for their next piece.
