Your first response to seeing sleight-of-hand magic might be to say “It is up your sleeve” or “You must be very quick” but there is more to it than fast moves and baggy sleeves. Will Houstoun, the youngest ever European Champion of Close-up and Magician in Residence at The Centre for Performance Science, will perform some mind-boggling sleight of hand and offer an insight into the skill and dexterity of the close-up magician.
