What you’ll do

You’ll hear about everyday remedies and treatments from the time of the Tudors and Stuarts (in the 16th and 17th centuries). Our speakers will tell you about what measures people took to stay healthy. And if they did get ill, who they would have turned to for treatment.

You’ll also get the chance to look at related historical material from our collections.
