What you’ll do

Join a scientist for a lunchtime conversation about his research into the role of data and technology in understanding dementia.

About your speaker

Nicholas Firth is a computer scientist at University College London and a researcher with Created Out of Mind, a team exploring dementia through science and the creative arts.

Where we’ll be

We will be in the Forum, through the Medicine Now gallery on Level 1. There are seats for 70 people.

To attend, just turn up on the day and follow the signs. Doors open at 12.45. These events can get busy, so arrive at least 10 minutes before it starts.

Part of Packed Lunch

At every Packed Lunch, you’ll get an opportunity to hear from a local scientist in conversation with a Wellcome facilitator about their current research. We then invite you to ask your own questions and share your thoughts. Sit back and listen or contribute – it’s up to you.
