What you’ll do
In this five-hour study day, your students will explore the theme of human enhancement in our permanent collections.
In the morning, your students will take part in activities in our Medicine Man and Medicine Now galleries. These will include exploring and handling a selection of relevant objects from our collections.
In the afternoon, your students will undertake practical scientific experiments investigating physical and mental enhancement. They will examine the ethics of human enhancement, and participate in games, discussion and debate.
Who can come
This study day is suitable for students aged 14–19. We can accommodate groups of 20–30 students, accompanied by staff at a ratio of 1:10.
