What you'll do

Come and hear Dr Sita Reddy as she describes how East India Company botanical archives bury colonial pasts and erase indigenous contributions. She will focus on 'Hortus Indicus Malabaricus', a monumental 17th-century Dutch illustrated herbal and medico-botanical treatise, a copy of which is held at Wellcome. Following her talk, there will be an opportunity for you to discuss her ideas.
