What you’ll do

Drop into the SoundLab Play Rave to try out new music technology and enjoy live performances. SoundLab is a Heart n Soul project, bringing together people with learning disabilities and digital music technology professionals to create music and sound experiences for everyone to enjoy.

You’ll have the opportunity to try out new technology from companies including: Mi.Mu, School of Noise, Vochlea, Cove, PRZM, Ableton, Augmented Instruments Lab and Native Instruments. There will also be live performances from Robyn Steward, Grace Savage, Chagall and more. Plus SoundLab band Electric Fire will be launching their debut EP ‘EFX’

Location

We’ll be in the Studio and the Forum on level 1. When you enter Wellcome Collection, head up the stairs or take the lift, then follow the signs through the ‘Being Human’ gallery.

Drop in

Just turn up to this event. It's likely to have room for everyone.

Relaxed

This is a relaxed event, which means that if you need to, you are welcome to move around and make noise at any time.

Award-winning creative arts company and charity Heart n Soul were residents of The Hub from 2018 to 2020. They believe in the power and talents of people with learning disabilities and autistic people. They work together to make great art with imagination, love and trust.
