What you’ll do

You’ll work with professional manga artist Chie Kutsuwada to explore and improve your story-creation and drawing skills.

In the first workshop you’ll learn about designing a character, considering aspects of drawing specific to manga such as physical proportions – large eyes and long limbs – and genre styles like comedy, romance and fantasy.

During the second workshop you’ll focus on creating a four-panel manga strip. You’ll learn how to devise and divide a story into four scenes, as well as tips and tricks for visualising your ideas.
