Impartial observations on the mode of levying the distillery duties, as recommended by Sir John Dalrymple, Bart. in an address to the landholders of England. With a proposal For better securing the Interests of the Landholder, the Distiller, and the Revenue, than can be expected from adopting that Mode. Illustrated with an Account of the Quantities of Corn-Spirits charged with Duty in England and Scotland, and the Amount of the Duties from Midsummer 1749 to Midsummer 1783, distinguishing each year, with several other States from Accounts laid before the Honourable House of Commons.
